Johanneskirken (St. John's Church)
Built in 1894. Johanneskirken is one of the finest neo-Gothic churches in Norway.

Korskirken
Korskirken was first built in the middle of the 12th century, but very little remains from this periode. Today it is predominantly a church of Renaissance architecture from the 17th century.

Lysekloster - Monastery
Ruins of a Cistercian Abbey built in 1146 as a "daughter" monastery to Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire, England. Partly demolished by Erik Rosenkrantz in 1560 who used the materials for the Rosenkrantz tower.

Nykirken
One of the many noteworthy edifices damaged during the war by an explotion in 1944, but now fully restored to its former glory. The church is built in the architectural style of the early 18th century.

St. Jørgens Kirke
The church forms part of the old leprosy hospital buildings built in the Middle Ages. It was rebuilt after the great fire in 1702.

St. Mary's Church - closed for maintenance
The oldest building still existing in Bergen, from the first half of the 12th century and one of the most outstanding Romanesque churches in the country. The pulpit is considered the finest example of Baroque decorative art in Norway.

Western Norway Emigration Centre
The Western Norway Emigration Centre includes the emigrant church, Brampton Lutheran Church, brought over from North Dakota in the USA and an emigration archive for Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane. A schoolhouse, pioneer's house, town hall, prison, doctor's surgery and schoolteacher's house from pioneer times have also been brought home and rebuilt.

Fantoft Stave Church
The old stave church at Fantoft, originally built in Fortun in Sogn in 1150 and moved to Fantoft in 1883, burnt down on 6 June 1992. Fantoft Stave Church has been rebuilt exactly as it was before the fire.
